Study Reports Positive Total Economic Impact of Meru’s Virtual Cell Architecture

Based on a current Meru customer deployment of the company’s virtual cell technology, Forrester concluded a risk-adjusted return on investment (ROI) of 35 percent over a three year period, a pay-back period of 12 months and a cost savings of $1,085,424.

Forrester’s data was gathered directly from an existing Meru customer, a large healthcare network, operating multiple hospitals, clinics and teaching facilities and providing wireless access to more than 750 physicians and other healthcare professionals, totaling 6,000 employees. The report analyzed the Wireless LAN implementation from a cost, ROI, and accessibility perspective and concluded that Meru’s virtual cell architecture achieved the following key benefits:
